Married and father of 3 children, Sinan ÇAKIR was born on 1 January 1959 in Trabzon.
Having started his professional career in private sector, Sinan ÇAKIR is currently the Chairman of Çakıroğlu Group of Companies, which is active in fields such as export-import, agriculture, food and feed sector.
In 1993, Çakıroğlu Group, which acquired Samsun Yem Sanayı as a producer and entered the sector as a producer, entered the white meat sector in 2003 in line with its growth strategy.
In addition to his professional career, Sinan ÇAKIR was elected as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors following the Samsun Commodity Exchange Assembly in 1992.
Mr. Sinan ÇAKIR came up as the chairman of the Samsun Commodity Exchange in the elections held in 2009 and 2013.
Sinan Çakır has also been Samsun Commodity Exchange General Assembly Delegation, Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchange Association; Member of the Council of Commodity Exchange and member of the Supreme Council for Strategy Development.
Mr. Sinan Çakır was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Black Sea Exporters Union Cereal Pulses Oil Seeds and Products, Member of the Audit Board of the Turkish Feed Manufacturers Association and Member of the Audit Committee of the Association of White Meat Industry and Breeders Association.
